Dr. Lisa Lippman always wanted to be a veterinarian. Growing up in New Jersey, she pursued her passions in biology and public relations at Syracuse University. She completed a pre-medical program at the University of Pennsylvania and then went on to earn her DVM at Western University of Health Sciences College of Veterinary Medicine in southern California. While in vet school, Dr Lippman was President of the holistic club, Vice President of the internal medicine club and events coordinator of the surgery club. However, one of her proudest accomplishments to date has been playing an integral role in changing a California state law called “Molly’s Bill.”
After graduating from veterinary school in 2013, Dr. Lippman moved home to NYC and completed a one-year internship at BluePearl Veterinary Partners. Dr. Lippman has worked as both a general practitioner, relief ER veterinarian and has had her own house call practice. Dr. Lippman co-hosts a podcast called Pets and Punchlines with her life-partner and comedian, Richie Redding, and has appeared on Dr. Oz, Fox's Chasing News, and Good Day New York among others. She is on the board of Animal Lighthouse Rescue and loves being active in her community.
